Once you've downloaded a software program and the download choice is 'launch' I don't want to launch it on this computer, but to make a disk image. I chose the save to desktop destination....where do I go from here?

downloaded microsoft office 2010 volume license and want to burn to a dvd, not launch on the host computer. If I close the application, will it be saved to the desktop destination as requested or would I lose the download by not launching it?
QuickTime Player 7.6.6 installs in the Utilities folder (not the same version 10.1 that installs in the Applications folder).
Once you enter the registration info the "Pro" features are unlocked for all User accounts on the machine.
Did you move QuickTime Player 7.6.6 from the Utilities folder?
Have you tested QuickTime Player 7.6.6 when logged in using a different User account?
